Wildlife Exclusion
Trapping removes the animal that is inside right now. Exclusion is the separate, permanent step that keeps the next one out.
What exclusion actually means
Exclusion is identifying every point on a structure where wildlife can get in, roofline, soffits, vents, chimney, foundation, utility penetrations, and physically sealing them with materials the target species cannot chew, dig, or force through. It is a one-time repair, not an ongoing service, though some properties pair it with recurring deterrent visits.
Why one-way devices matter
When an animal is still active inside, we do not just seal the structure shut. One-way exclusion devices let the animal leave but not return, so nothing gets sealed in. This is especially important with bats, where Florida law requires this approach and restricts exclusion timing to outside the April 16 – August 14 maternity season.
